Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Henderson, Nevada. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and maintain positive relationships to resolve disputes
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of contracts and estimate, recognize changes, and take appropriate action
  • Monitor jobsite safety and take corrective action to address deficiencies
  • Develop cash flow projections with the Project Controller
  • Approve Time and Material rates
  • Correspond with clients, architects, and subcontractors
  • Approve final bid packages to subcontractors
  • Review pay applications with owners
  • Prepare and distribute delay notices to owners and architects
  • Negotiate subcontractor changes
  • Provide proactive claims protection
  • Track and monitor cost reports
  • Update labor and unit projections
  • Monitor third-party work authorization
  • Approve payments to suppliers and subcontractors
  • Review PCO quotes, negotiate changes, and claims protection
  • Settle union jurisdictional disputes with the Superintendent
  • Monitor schedules and participate in schedule meetings
  • Submit insurance claims to the Safety Engineer
  • Monitor CCIP activities and safety programs
  • Chair Architect/Owner/Contractor meetings and generate accurate minutes
  • Develop procurement logs and track progress to ensure compliance with project schedules
  • Analyze and resolve construction process problems and issues, effectively communicating and interfacing with all levels of personnel
  • Utilize excellent written and oral communication and team skills
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, including health, safety, and welfare
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar field from an ABET-accredited institution and 10 or more years of relevant estimating, project management, and/or construction experience
  • Fourteen or more years of relevant experience if the degree requirement is not met
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager for building construction projects exceeding $50M in value
  • Knowledge of lodging and gaming vocabulary and facility program components
  • Proficient with MS Office and Procore
