Role Summary:
We are seeking an Aerial Emergency Medical Technician to collaborate with our skilled air transport professionals in the safe transfer of patients to and from healthcare facilities, as well as responding to emergency situations.

Ensuring safety and delivering effective patient care are fundamental to our operations; thus, you will be part of a dedicated team that prioritizes high safety standards for both crew members and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate each emergency scenario to determine the most appropriate actions for supporting, monitoring, and treating patients in critical conditions.
- Employ critical thinking abilities to manage adult or pediatric patients who are critically ill or injured, while adhering to physician directives.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and well-equipped aircraft environment, conduct regular equipment checks, and comply with safety protocols and briefings.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, medical facilities, and partners in a professional manner.
- Relay shift change information to incoming team members and follow established protocols to ensure accurate documentation and records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Remain accountable for maintaining necessary certifications and engaging in ongoing training relevant to the position.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to meeting our elevated standards in safety and service.

Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of recent experience in an Advanced Life Support (ALS) or critical care environment.
- Valid EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the designated area.
- NREMT-P certification may be necessary in the assigned region.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required prior to flight status.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider training provided during orientation.
- Must obtain trauma certification within 12 months of employment.
- Advanced Certification (FP-C) required within 24 months of employment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in air medical transport.
- Advanced Certification (FP-C) is advantageous.
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS are preferred.
