Position Overview:

Role: Senior Research Engineer
Location: Research Triangle Park, Durham, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the creation of pioneering solutions for target detection and deep learning applications (~50%)
  • Contribute to software architecture and design across various initiatives (~45%)
  • Limited travel requirements (less than 5% of the time)

Required Qualifications:

Skills and Experience:

  • 5-10 years of pertinent experience
  • Expertise in CUDA and GPU programming
  • Strong proficiency in scientific programming using Python
  • Familiarity with C or C++ programming languages
  • Understanding of mathematical libraries and software development methodologies
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Educational background in computer science or related disciplines

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related fields

Citizenship and Security Clearance:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
  • Current SECRET clearance is preferred
