Job Title: Deputy Program Manager

Join the AMS Group, Inc. team as a Deputy Program Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and management skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage programs from inception to completion, including proposal development, product design, procurement, subcontracting, manufacturing, testing, delivery, and acceptance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement program plans, schedules, and budgets to meet customer requirements and company goals.
  • Monitor and control program costs, ensuring profitability and cash flow.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on the program.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure program success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure program compliance.
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree in a technical discipline, plus a minimum of four years of related experience.
  • Proven team leadership experience, with a strong track record of program management and execution.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with an organizational ERP system and lead a small, remote team of engineers.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Military veteran with experience in operational or project management within defense and aerospace, manufacturing, or federal government/military.
  • Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent experience.
