Senior Commercial Relationship Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Relationship Manager to join our team at AmeriServ Financial. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for developing and expanding profitable commercial relationships by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve established goals in loan, deposit, and fee production.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, prospects, and center of influence contacts through regular communication and outreach.
- Expand business customers' retail and trust relationships by actively profiling needs, cross-selling appropriate solutions, and referring opportunities/leads to partners within the bank.
- Apply necessary credit and financial analysis skills to prioritize opportunities, assess risk, and structure credit requests.
- Develop and deliver effective credit presentations to approval authorities, including identification of strengths, weaknesses, mitigants, and recommendations for approval.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the bank's products and services to identify opportunities and cross-sell effectively.
- Deliver exceptional customer service both internally and externally, meeting existing customer service standards within the bank.
- Represent the bank within the community in a professional manner and participate in leadership roles of professional, charitable, and civic organizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or economics (with a heavy concentration of accounting) or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of banking experience, with at least seven (7) years of intense commercial and mortgage lending experience.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel, including overnight stays, may be required.
- Ability to type or work with fingers, talk, and hear at normal speaking levels.
- Specific vision abilities required include viewing a computer monitor, extensive reading, and moderate traveling.
