Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our Transportation and Infrastructure Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, highways, and transit systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, highways, and transit systems.
  • Plan, direct, and supervise the work of a major engineering unit or project, requiring a large-scale organization of manpower and financial accountability.
  • Provide technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
  • Ensure compliance of design with all applicable codes and regulations, providing the seal and signature of the professional engineer when required by statute or contract.
  • Prepare material/equipment technical specifications.
  • Coordinate surveys, studies, pothole explorations, and site investigations.
  • Maintain affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.
  • Help determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
Requirements
  • Accredited degree in Civil Engineering, Masters preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of related work experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of current technology and ability to select and apply appropriate existing and emerging engineering software for use on projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Experience in supervising staff and helping to hire staff.
