Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long-term care team at Brightmoor Nursing Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
About the Role- Provides supportive services to nurses and other staff members as needed, performing duties assigned by supervisors.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, in accordance with individualized care plans and facility policies.
- Coordinates dining room services, including meal setup, tray delivery, and cleanup, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for residents.
- Delivers nutritional supplements to residents at designated times, providing assistance as necessary to ensure proper intake.
- Assists with weighing residents according to facility protocol, recording weights in designated locations and reporting changes to nurse and supervisor.
- Maintains accurate records of resident progress, completing flow sheets daily to indicate task completion.
- Treats all residents with dignity and respect, promoting and protecting their rights and well-being.
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Have at least one year of experience working as a CNA in a long-term care setting.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact with residents, staff, and families.
- Be able to work varied shifts, including morning, evening, and night shifts, as scheduled.
- Pass a background check and any required screenings prior to employment.
