As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims, negotiating settlements with attorneys and claimants, and ensuring that all claims are handled in a fair and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and evaluate insurance claims to determine liability and coverage
- Negotiate settlements with attorneys and claimants
- Ensure that all claims are handled in a fair and timely manner
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Adhere to all regulatory and casualty claims practices and procedures
- Must be able to read and understand contracts
- Must be able to adapt to change and handle a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Customer Service experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred
- Texas Adjusters license required
