We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in Philosophy at The Pennsylvania State University.

Job Duties
  • Teach part-time undergraduate courses in Philosophy.
  • Candidates with Ph.D. degrees in the discipline may also be assigned to teach upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or equivalent education and experience in a related field is required.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community.

The start date for Fall 2024 appointments is August 16, 2024. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Adjunct Lecturers normally teach one to two courses per semester.
