About the Role

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Language Pathology Specialist to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of school psychology experience and be licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Florida.



Key Responsibilities




  • Provide direct therapy services to special needs students in a K-12 school environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans for students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure successful student outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech language pathology and incorporate new techniques into daily practice


Requirements




  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • ASHA CCC licensure required
  • Experience working with special needs students in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of due process and assessment protocols
