Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity in Elementary School

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in an elementary school setting in Prior Lake, MN. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by helping them overcome communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students (K-5)
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates to parents and staff
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Minnesota SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative educational team
