Job Summary:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating patient progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
  • 2 years' experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in applicable state (IN)
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS for Health Care Providers
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
