Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team at Ryder System in Braintree, Massachusetts. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers
- Perform facility maintenance duties and interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
- Perform other support duties as required to support operations
- Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
- Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
