Job Title: Senior Level Diesel Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Level Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder in Braintree, MA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, basic diagnostics and repairs, and complex mechanical and electronic problem-solving on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers
  • Complete complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
  • Perform facility maintenance duties and interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
  • Demonstrate the ability to access and use internal and external maintenance documents
  • Other support duties as required to support operations
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment
  • Knowledge of and the ability to apply knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
  • Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire

  • Average Weekly Pay: $1482
  • Hourly Pay: $37.06 per hour
  • Sign On Bonus: Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
