Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Extrusion Specialist to join our team at GPAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion equipment to produce high-quality plastic products that meet the specifications of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate extrusion equipment according to standard operating procedures and quality control guidelines.
  • Monitor the extrusion process to ensure that the products meet quality standards and specifications, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure the quality of the finished product, with a focus on minimizing waste and maximizing output.
  • Maintain 80% efficiency through increased uptime, decreased quality rejects, and timely escalation of issues requiring additional resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the extrusion equipment, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Work closely with other members of the production team to meet production goals and deadlines, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed and that the work area is kept clean and organized, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in plastic extrusion operating, with a focus on technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on technical education and training.
  • Previous experience operating plastic extrusion equipment is preferred, with a focus on technical skills and knowledge.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with a focus on analytical thinking and critical thinking.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, with a focus on attention to detail and technical knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines, with a focus on time management and prioritization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective listening, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
