Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Extrusion Specialist to join our team at GPAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion equipment to produce high-quality plastic products that meet the specifications of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate extrusion equipment according to standard operating procedures and quality control guidelines.
  • Monitor the extrusion process to ensure that the products meet quality standards and specifications, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure the quality of the finished product and minimize waste.
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency through increased uptime, decreased quality rejects, and timely escalation of issues requiring additional resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the extrusion equipment, working closely with the maintenance team to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Work closely with other members of the production team to meet production goals and deadlines, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in plastic extrusion operating, with a strong background in manufacturing process control.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and science.
  • Previous experience operating plastic extrusion equipment is preferred, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and process control.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
