Job Summary:
UnityPoint Health is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Linn County Crisis Center. This is a full-time position working 32 hours per week, with a shift differential for overnight hours.
About the Role:
This position will provide whole person, integrated care with a primary focus on the treatment of mental health conditions within an outpatient clinic. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with psychiatric providers, reception and scheduling staff, care coordinators, and other team members to ensure client needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide whole person, integrated care with primary focus on the treatment of mental health conditions within an outpatient clinic.
- Work collaboratively with psychiatric providers, reception and scheduling staff, care coordinators, and other team members to ensure client needs are met.
- Room patients, complete health questionnaires, process refill requests, communicate assessment results, lab reports, pharmacy inquiries, and client concerns with psychiatric providers.
- Perform additional duties as may be assigned to ensure complete service to all customers.
Requirements:
- Iowa RN or LPN required.
- Experience with persons in recovery from mental illness and/or substance use disorders preferred.
- Demonstrate creative and solid decision-making skills, compassion, and contribute to a positive office culture.
- Iowa Driver's License required.
