Job Title: Windows Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Systems Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) Mission Operations Representative Team, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of company technical products, programs, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of company technical products, programs, and systems.
  • Provide training to customers on software systems and programs designed for customers (corporate and individual) and government entities.
  • Assist in optimizing the IBCS network.
  • Assist in troubleshooting IBCS hardware, software, and networks.
  • Provide feedback to program leadership regarding system performance and end-user comments.
  • Perform operator and maintainer tasks on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in science or IT field with 2 years of experience in related field OR Master's degree with 0 years of experience. Four Years of IT experience can be used in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
  • Current Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in science or IT field, and 5 years of experience in related field, 3 years with a master's degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
  • OS certification (Linux Red hat preferred but windows acceptable).
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux and experience operating within a Continuous Deliver/Continuous Integration culture.
  • Experience integrating COTS, GOTS, and custom software in a security constrained environment.
  • Knowledge of military operations, procedures, and training activities.
  • Knowledge of Army ADA systems and operations.
  • Joint Tactical Information Distribution System-JT101 course or Multi-TDL Advanced Joint Interoperability Course (Majic) graduate.
  • Army Basic Instructor Course or Small Group Instructor Training course graduate.
  • Military veteran with service as an Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Non-Commissioned, Warrant, or Commissioned Officer.

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,700 - $113,500 and a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
