EMW is seeking a skilled Windows System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in configuring and deploying Windows-based servers, analyzing system logs, and identifying potential issues. They will also be responsible for applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes, as well as installing and configuring new hardware and software. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for documenting the configuration of the system, troubleshooting any reporting problems, and ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running. They will also be responsible for configuring, adding, and deleting file systems, and ensuring parity between dev, test, and production environments. Furthermore, the candidate will perform SCAP scans and complete STIG checklists to provide Information Assurance with necessary artifacts for RMF compliance. They will also ensure that Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) guidelines are met. The ideal candidate will have a DoD-approved Information Assurance-Technical (IAT) Level II (or an IAT Level III) certification, such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP. Desired certifications include MCSA, MCSE, Cisco, and VMware. The candidate will also have experience in Windows Administration, MS Server Administration, Active Directory Management, and desired skills in Operating Systems, Server Applications, and Software Applications.
