Coffee Roaster Specialist

This role will be part of our roasting team and will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical stamina, endurance, and consistency throughout the workday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving green coffee shipments, storing them in designated areas, pulling green coffee for roasting, roasting coffee to order, and logging data for each roast. Additionally, they will be expected to manage roasting byproducts, operate an Optical Sorter, and assist in organizing and cleaning the roasting and green coffee workspaces.

This position requires excellent teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to multitask in a noisy and distracting environment. The ideal candidate will also be physically able to meet the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.

This role requires very heavy work, involving exerting over 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

An estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
