Coffee Roasting Specialist Job Description

As a Coffee Roasting Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the manufacturing of all coffee products after roasting.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have excellent physical stamina, as this role requires working in a warehouse environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. The ideal candidate will also possess strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving green coffee shipments and storing them in designated areas of the warehouse.
  • Pulling green coffee and loading it into roasters.
  • Roasting coffee to order each day.
  • Logging data for the roasts produced and documenting organic purges.
  • Operating equipment such as optical sorters and forklifts safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment highly desirable.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes group health insurance, flexible spending accounts, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) program, we also offer paid time off and eight company holidays.
