Job Summary

Our Superintendents play a critical role in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm and clean agent/special hazard suppression systems. As a lead on the job site, they oversee other technicians and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality work and exceptional customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead installation and maintenance teams on job sites, providing guidance and oversight to ensure successful project completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers and install coordinators to keep customers informed about job progress and address any concerns.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for compliance and documentation, including job-related records and reports.
  • Respond to emergency service requests and take prompt action to resolve issues.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of system equipment, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Conduct training with customers on the functionality of fire systems, ensuring they understand system operation and maintenance requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in electronics or a related field preferred.
  • Five years of experience in service and/or installation of fire alarm or special hazard fire suppression systems, with a focus on leadership and technical expertise.
  • Experience reading blueprints and working with intelligent fire control panel programming software.
  • NICET (Fire Alarm/Special Hazard) certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft and standard internet usage.
  • Strong time management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively and demonstrate a customer service mindset.

Work Environment:
  • This is a remote position that requires frequent travel to local job sites for installations, service, or repairs.
  • Company vehicle, tools, technology, and equipment provided.
  • Occasional on-call days and/or overtime required for unscheduled service needs.
  • Job duties require the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and crawl into tight or awkward places.
  • Overnight travel required up to 25% of the time.
