KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership protocols
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to test components and systems; conduct vehicle test drives
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems
  • Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required. Complete a thorough online multi-point inspection report
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Quick learner
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Proficient with computers
  • Valid driver's license
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Welcome customers promptly
  • Gather customer and vehicle details
  • Accurately report all vehicle issues as described by the customer
  • Assess and recommend necessary maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history
  • Prepare a precise and complete estimate for labor and parts
  • Set follow-up timelines
  • Track the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, providing regular updates to customers
  • Ensure the final invoice aligns with the work completed on the repair order
  • Clarify all completed services and charges to customers
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated history of achieving high Customer Satisfaction
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant is essential
  • Above-average energy and enthusiasm
  • Commitment to a long-term career with a growing organization
  • Integrity, both personally and professionally
  • Experience with ADP systems is advantageous
