We are seeking an experienced Senior Level Equipment Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including routine preventative maintenance and complex diagnostic repairs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical repair and diagnostics, with experience working on heavy duty equipment. A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) is required, and we encourage candidates with vocational or technical certifications to apply.

Job Description:

  • Perform standard vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers
  • Complete detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
  • Work unsupervised on most tasks and interact with customers/drivers to properly determine the nature of complaints
