About the Role

Selective Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Agile Coach to join our Transformation Office. As a key influencer, you will drive the operational and strategic direction of the company, ensuring strategies are effectively implemented in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach senior business leaders, value stream leaders, and product managers in refining their business strategy and portfolio vision.
  • Guide them in creating and refining epics/features, measured by defined OKRs/KPIs.
  • Drive agile/product maturity for a portfolio, roughly 15 teams, through the creation and management of epic kanban boards.
  • Drive continuous improvement on agile teams, programs, and departments using techniques such as Inspect & Adapt, Retrospectives, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Facilitate tracking and reporting of agile metrics at the program level to promote transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Influence financial reporting practices to align with the product model.

Requirements

  • Strong command of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) values, principles, and practices.
  • Experience with Agile work management software, especially Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with 4+ years of experience in coaching and mentoring Agile skills, the Scrum Framework, Scrum of Scrums leadership, and working in SAFe.
  • Advanced Agile certification required.
