Position Overview

David Michael Productions, Inc is actively seeking a meticulous, dependable, and service-focused AV Equipment Specialist to enhance our dynamic warehouse operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Operations Manager, Inventory Manager, Project Managers, and Director of Account Management. This position requires a flexible schedule, including travel, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining a standard of 40 hours per week with potential for overtime throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently scan and retrieve equipment from the warehouse using the Flex Inventory System.
  • Assist in loading and unloading equipment onto trucks alongside warehouse personnel.
  • Verify equipment pull lists for each event while in the warehouse.
  • Conduct quality control checks: inspect outgoing and incoming equipment for any damage or missing components.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager while in the warehouse.

On-Site Responsibilities (if applicable):

  • Ensure precise and timely setup, operation, and dismantling of AV equipment, including audio, video, lighting, and graphics.
  • Safeguard equipment from theft and damage during use.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and aim to surpass client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in Arts, Technical, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the AV industry is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Suite and Flex inventory system.
  • Physical stamina to work extended hours on foot and lift over 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and effective time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work in extreme temperatures within the warehouse environment.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to operate independently.
