Powder Coating Specialist

G&W Electric Company is seeking a skilled Powder Coat Operator to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality coatings for our electrical power grid solutions.

• Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures
• Prepare parts for coating
• Apply powder coating using various equipment and techniques
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure coatings meet company standards
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and improve processes

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1-2 years of experience in powder coating or a related field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software

• Lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Stand for long periods and walk between workstations
• Bend, stoop, and squat to access equipment and parts
