Elmington Property Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor in Nashville, TN for a beautiful affordable property, Biltmore Place.

We're looking for a skilled professional to oversee the entire maintenance process for the property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Focus: Provide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkers.
  • Supervise Maintenance Staff: Oversee the workflow for the service staff and delegate workload to staff.
  • Budget Management: Meet and exceed budget expectations for expenditures.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies, materials, and tools as needed.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose problems and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical (when no license is required), general carpentry, pool care, and roof and gutter repairs.
  • Landscaping and Snow Removal: Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers even in difficult situations.
  • Service Requests: Perform service requests correctly and promptly.
  • Technology: Operating computers and other technological devices to access company-utilized software.
  • Elmington's Non-Negotiables: Successfully execute Elmington's non-negotiables for service work orders and vacant turn times.
  • Leadership: Proven leader, forward thinker, innovative, and driven.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of property maintenance and/or maintenance experience.
  • HVAC: HVAC preferred/required.
  • Bilingual: Bilingual is a plus.
  • Communication: Effective communication.
  • Maintenance: Maintain the physical condition of the property.
  • Tools: Utilize hand tools and power tools.
  • Building Maintenance: Building maintenance and repairs.
  • Availability: Responding to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
  • Timekeeping: Accurately reporting all time worked by clocking in before beginning to work and out only when done working.
  • Company Policies: Following all company policies and procedures.
