Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Bryten Real Estate Partners is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our properties, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate their work schedules and assignments.
  • Oversee the preparation of maintenance schedules, work orders, and training programs for the maintenance team.
  • Ensure that service requests and repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner, and that data is accurately recorded.
  • Manage the quality of maintenance services and troubleshoot plumbing and electrical issues.
  • Perform grounds work, including trash removal, sweeping, pressure washing, and maintaining the landscape.
  • Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service responses and be on-call as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of experience in building and facility maintenance, including supervisory experience.
  • Licensing and trade certification in HVAC, Electrical Wiring, or Plumbing are highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and write in English at an intermediate level, with basic math skills for measuring and calculations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in using computers for data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets.
