Job Overview
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in executing various maintenance tasks essential for preserving and enhancing the property's value.
Your responsibilities will include addressing service requests from residents and preparing vacant units to ensure they are ready for new occupants.
It is imperative to represent the company professionally at all times, delivering outstanding customer service and promptly addressing resident inquiries and concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident Advocate:
Respond swiftly and courteously to service requests, ensuring resident satisfaction and comfort.
Maintain a clean and inviting community atmosphere.
Enhance vacant units, ensuring they are market-ready and appealing to prospective residents. - Diverse Skill Set:
Execute a variety of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs.
Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to avert larger complications. - Professional Conduct:
Represent ARI Apartment Management with a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and vendors.
Participate in on-call rotations, addressing urgent needs outside of regular hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade school or military training is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of general maintenance experience (including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting).
- CPO certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and auto insurance is required.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergencies.
