About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Stillwell at Avery Centre in Round Rock, TX. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of the property, providing excellent service to our residents, and contributing to the overall success of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all service requests are completed promptly and to a high standard, including after-hours requests.
• Participate in the on-call rotation with the rest of the maintenance team to provide 24/7 support to our residents.
• Execute the turnover of units and make-readies for new residents, ensuring a smooth transition and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the daily clean up of the exterior of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas, to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our residents.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance, where applicable, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our residents.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of company, property, and maintenance policies, including attending all required training, to stay up-to-date on best practices and company procedures.
• Provide care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the company, ensuring that all assets are properly managed and maintained.
• Keep storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the required uniform policy, representing our company with pride and professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our residents and team members.
• Utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
• Perform other duties as directed and assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of our community.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous general maintenance experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, is strongly preferred.
• EPA Certification (Type I and II) is preferred and may be required in some locations.
• Ability to frequently walk and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift/move loads up to 50lbs, as well as use a ladder, is required.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property and have reliable transportation to participate in on-call duties.
• Basic computer skills are required, and the ability to speak elementary English is required.
