Job Summary

The Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District is seeking a skilled Pool Service Technician to maintain the district's swimming pools. This is a part-time position requiring 20-29 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 3:30 pm.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field, knowledge of pool chemistry, water treatment, and filtration systems, and the ability to operate pool tools and equipment effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining swimming pool water through routine maintenance of pool, equipment, and water chemistry. This includes planning, coordinating, and implementing adult sports leagues, tournaments, and programs, as well as supervising athletic programs, officials, scorekeepers, volunteer coaches, spectators, and participants.

The Pool Service Technician will also be responsible for training, overseeing, coaching, scheduling, and providing leadership for volunteers and team members, enforcing rules and safety standards, and monitoring program activities and assisting participants in recreational activities.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Texas driver's license. Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is required, as well as knowledge of pool chemistry, water treatment, and filtration systems.
