Nissan Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Wise Auto Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance – Tasks include oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front end alignments, inspections, battery installations, and headlight/taillight installations.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures – Includes extensive diagnostic inventory to determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
- Manage paperwork – Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records.
- Maintain cleanliness - Ensure the work environment is clean and safe to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
Requirements:
- At least 3 months of experience or related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in both front and back of parts counter is preferred
- Strong communication and customer relations skills
- Strong math and reading comprehension skills
- General understanding of various functions of a distribution center
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and work at heights of 25 feet or more
- Ability to use a forklift or willingness to be certified within 90 days of hire
- 18 years of age or older
- Warehouse experience and material handling equipment experience preferred
- Computer-literate with the ability to learn and become proficient in any software program
- High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
