We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at the Center for Learning and Autism Support Services, Inc. (CLASS).
Job Summary:
As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in various settings, including their homes and community-based locations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one behavior therapy using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct 1:1 behavior therapy shifts, implementing programming set up by the Clinical Director or Clinical Manager.
- Collect and record data accurately and efficiently in accordance with policies established by CLASS.
- Carry out clinical tasks, assigned by the Clinical Director or Clinical Manager.
- Follow through with administrative tasks, including but not limited to responding promptly to emails/phone calls, corresponding with office staff, scheduling, time off requests, and completing time sheets.
Requirements:
- Speak, write, read, and communicate fluently in the English language.
- Enjoy teaching and interacting with children.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality pertaining to clients, therapists, staff, and any other protected health information (PHI).
- Responsible, caring, and eager to learn.
- Respectful to parents/guardians/teachers.
- Excellent time management skills, communication skills, and professional ability to receive positive and constructive feedback.
- Punctuality.
- Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation to and from client homes.
Benefits:
- Hourly pay rate is $18-$26 DOE and education.
- $500 bonus for current RBTs paid after 3 months of employment.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be capable of transferring-vertical/horizontal, lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds, and be able to push/pull, stoop/bend, kneel, walk, sit, stand, and reach.
