Role Summary:

The Digital Content Developer & Trainer will be responsible for crafting captivating online experiences while leveraging extensive web development expertise to create interactive training sessions for content managers, editors, and developers.

Collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and leadership is essential to transform wireframes and design concepts into functional, contemporary websites.

This dynamic role requires proficiency in web development, content management, and training, with an emphasis on creativity, sound judgment, and alignment with the organization's digital objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop engaging web content and training materials.
  • Translate web design knowledge into effective training sessions.
  • Update and manage content across ALPA's digital platforms.

Qualifications:

A minimum of four years of relevant experience is required, with five years preferred. A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, IT, or Web Applications is essential, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with diverse audiences.

Demonstrated experience in public speaking and training is crucial, along with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and content management systems is required, with familiarity in DNN and Sitecore being advantageous.

Experience with Google Analytics and performance metrics to guide development choices is preferred.

Familiarity with the operations of labor unions or advocacy organizations is a plus, as is experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.


Technical Skills:

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, project management tools like Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite.
