Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is expected to demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering patient care. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, directing, and providing nursing care in accordance with established standards and regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and following physician orders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • PALS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Active Registered Nurse license.
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting.
