Job Description

Amazon is seeking an experienced Operations Integration Specialist to drive scale and standardization at our expanding Prime Air network.

The Operations Integration team is responsible for the ideation and integration of operator tools, performance initiatives, and network scaling mechanisms of the Prime Air drone delivery network.

This is a highly collaborative role where you will work to solve complex problems with simple and practical solutions by developing a deep knowledge of the operation processes.

You will be creating effective communication plans to provide visibility to all impacted teams to enable overall process alignment.

As a firsthand contact for sites regarding process improvements and benchmarking, you will work on effective change processes and contribute to network standardization via best practice sharing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing operational business requirements to enable innovation, support user acceptance testing, conduct pilots, and deploy new process, hardware, and software solutions across the network.
  • Communicating network changes, programs, and events that will impact future short, medium, and long-term sort and delivery operations to various stakeholders.
  • Defining and driving adoption of standard work into the daily routines and habits of operations and support staff.
  • Contributing to the deployment of Process Standard implementations and upgrades within drone delivery sites with site leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring site management understands benchmark rates and is trained in technical configurations to drive accurate reporting and productivity boosts.
  • Compiling and managing day-to-day requests from Operation stakeholders.
  • Running meetings with partner teams to track progress, implement new initiatives, and improve existing programs.
  • Providing analysis and insights to senior leadership to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions.
  • Improving and optimizing workflows for maintenance teams.

Basic qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of project or program management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • E-Commerce/Retail experience, including demand planning, supply planning, sourcing, buying, and forecasting.
  • Intermediate data analysis skills and expertise in using supporting tools, such as MS Excel and SQL.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • MBA, MSc, or MEng in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Certified Black Belt or Green Belt.
  • Advanced data analysis skills, such as SQL.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $126,400/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
