Clinical Nurse II

Albany Medical Center seeks a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Colorectal Surgery team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures as required.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless patient care and maintain high standards of professional nursing.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Current Registered Nurse license and certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
- Ability to improve job performance through continuing education and maintain certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
Our Colorectal Surgery unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
