Job Summary:
Albany Medical Center seeks a skilled Registered Nurse II to join our Colorectal Surgery & Urology team. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with colleagues to create effective care plans, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care
- Manage the caregiving team and delegate tasks as needed
- Administer medications, order diagnostic tests, and apply nursing judgment
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
Requirements:
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC
- 1-3 years of previous clinical nursing experience
- Ability to improve job performance through continuing education
