Clinical Nurse II Position

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our team at Albany Medical Center. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and procedures.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
- Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain professional nursing standards.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
Compensation: $33.00/hr - $63.98/hr
