Position Overview: As a vital member of our organization, you will operate advanced imaging equipment and conduct a range of mammography-related diagnostic tests. Precision in positioning and exposure techniques is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Effectively communicate procedures to patients and educate them on the importance of regular mammography for preventative breast health.
- Engage in clear communication with physicians, patients, and colleagues.
- Follow detailed instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain a patient-first approach, demonstrating outstanding customer service skills.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography, with advanced certification in mammography or MQSA qualification.
- Active ARDMS certification.
- Up-to-date with all continuing education requirements as mandated by MQSA, ARRT, and ARDMS.
- High School Diploma; an Associate's degree is preferred.
- Possess unrestricted licensure in the state of employment.
- Familiarity with database software and RIS/PACS systems is advantageous.
- Preferred experience includes two years in mammography and familiarity with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies.
- Prior quality control experience is a plus.
- Ability to comprehend and utilize medical terminology.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
