About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist-Inpatient Malignant Hematology to join our team at Duke University Hospital.

Job Description:

The Oncology Services Division of the Department of Pharmacy is looking for a practitioner to deliver exceptional care to adult malignant hematology patients. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical pharmacy services, including rounding, limited order verification, and clinical monitoring.
  • Partnering with physicians and other providers to promote evidence-based, safe, effective drug therapy.
  • Serving as the medication expert to nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or BS Pharmacy Degree with 2 years of pharmacy practice experience. A PGY1 or Pharmacy Practice Residency is desired, and a PGY2 in oncology, internal medicine, or palliative care is preferred.

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year.
