Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Wieland is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance procedures, including preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance, to improve equipment reliability.
- Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime.
- Work with the operations group to increase reliability while improving plant performance.
- Perform simple machinist duties, fabrication, and welding as required.
- Read and follow technical diagrams and schematics.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of industrial equipment maintenance experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- MIG, TIG, and stick welding and cutting skills.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment, including fork lifts and burden carriers.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting experience.
Benefits:
- Starting pay is $32 per hour, with potential for increases based on years of experience.
- Weekly pay schedule.
- 12-hour swing shifts, rotating schedule.
