We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 - $60,000 per year.

About the Job:

  • Provide exceptional patient service and satisfaction in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Support all staff members and patients with administrative tasks, appointments, and treatment plans.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet patients, sign them in, and schedule future appointments.
  2. Respond to patient questions and concerns according to Dental Care Alliance policies.
  3. Answer telephones, make appointments, and maintain appointment books.
  4. Confirm appointments, follow up on no-shows, and register patients on sign-in sheets.
  5. Post charges and payments to patient accounts and maintain a clean waiting area.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a dental or medical office is preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience answering telephones.
