Compensation: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

As a Peer Recovery Specialist, your primary focus will be on engaging with patients in the community as they embark on their recovery journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting outreach and educational initiatives for eligible individuals
- Performing individual assessments to identify needs and eligibility for services
- Maintaining accurate records for care coordination
- Completing required reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
- Facilitating ongoing coordination of follow-up care and support services
- Building and nurturing relationships with community partners
- Participating in required training and meetings
- Adhering to national regulations regarding Protected Health Information
- Undertaking additional projects and duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess lived experience with substance use disorders and medication-assisted treatment, demonstrating confidence in educating others and supporting individuals at the beginning of their recovery process.
Minimum Qualifications- Certification as a Peer Specialist is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of self-identified recovery from substance use or mental health disorders, with 2 years of abstinence from illicit substances and alcohol.
- At least 1 year of experience in community health or addiction treatment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and adapt to their individual needs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with organizational and community partners.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
