Job Description

Polsinelli is seeking an experienced IP Docketing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our intellectual property group, you will be responsible for managing high-volume client portfolios, analyzing and interpreting IP rules, and maintaining accurate deadline management in docketing software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage IP docketing for assigned client portfolios, including accurate deadline management in docketing software.
  • Analyze and interpret various IP rules, including Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and Manual Patent Examining Procedures (MPEP).
  • Work with IP docketing procedures and software, such as CPi, to docket patent and trademark deadlines for global portfolios.
  • Generate and edit reports from IP docketing software, as well as assist with requested client portfolio reports identifying status of IP matters and deadlines.
  • Assist with patent and trademark transfers, including report generation, verifying portfolio details, and may include assisting with patent office formalities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years IP Docketing experience, with CPi software preferred, and within a law firm environment.
  • Prior experience with managing high-volume client portfolios.
  • High School diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.

The budgeted salary range for this position, based on experience and location, is $62,000 - $80,000.
