Overview:

The Logistics Team at Intelliswift Software is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Logistics Process Improvement Analyst. This role is pivotal in applying industrial engineering and Lean methodologies to enhance operational processes. By collaborating with various teams, the Analyst will work towards optimizing efficiency, capacity, quality, and safety within logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Process Engineers in crafting and executing innovative processes to boost efficiency and data transparency.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of optimized workstation layouts to maximize space utilization and minimize cycle times.
  • Work closely with operational teams to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct time studies and recommend updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as part of the change management framework.
  • Enhance workstation safety and ergonomic standards.
  • Act as a liaison between operational teams and external vendors to ensure seamless coordination of activities.
  • Provide analytical support for projects, including data analysis, process mapping, and system enhancement proposals.
  • Address ad hoc requests from stakeholders, such as data reporting and root cause analysis.
  • Extract and analyze data from multiple sources, presenting findings through visual storytelling techniques.
  • Assist in testing solutions, debugging processes, and maintaining documentation.
  • Validate data and dashboards, offering insights to inform decision-making.

Required Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of cycle time, waste reduction, root cause analysis, Just-in-Time (JIT) principles, 5S methodology, and DMAIC framework.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to create process flow diagrams and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Experience in conducting cycle time assessments.
  • Capability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Familiarity with GSuite applications (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms).
  • Intermediate data analysis skills, including SQL query execution and Tableau dashboard creation.
  • Ability to gather and synthesize data from diverse sources to develop comprehensive reports.
  • Quick learner with a strong attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
