">Overview of the RoleThe Shop Foreman is a critical member of our Service department team, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our services. This includes supervising mechanics, scheduling jobs, and maintaining high-quality standards.
">Responsibilities and Requirements- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and mentor mechanics, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Scheduling and Organization: Schedule jobs, assign work areas, and ensure seamless transitions between tasks.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections, provide guidance, and maintain high standards for work quality.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by keeping customers informed about job status, costs, and additional repairs.
- Education and Licenses: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 4 years as a mechanic and 2 years as a shop foreman or lead mechanic; Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required.
