Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
  • Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical systems and repairing them.
  • Maintaining accurate records of service cycles and other maintenance activities.
  • Reporting any damages, defects, or issues related to electrical units to the supervisor.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:


• For the Injection Molding Machines, troubleshoot and accomplish timely and complete repairs to all electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

• Troubleshoot and accomplish timely and complete repairs to all auxiliary equipment such as grinders, dryers, thermolaters, compressors, chillers, central loading systems, etc.

• Troubleshoot and accomplish timely and complete repairs to resolve all building maintenance problems and install new equipment as necessary.

• Research and install equipment to improve processes and/or support system operations.

• Install automation/support equipment for injection molding machines (i.e. Cincinnati, Toshiba, Husky).

• Maintain all equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

• Undertake personal responsibility to become fully qualified to perform all aspects of the position.

• Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

• Assist Lining and Process Mechanics in their job functions as required to support overall plant performance.
