Job Summary

Fort Worth Interventional LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent information
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures, such as blood draws and urine tests
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
  • Complete and maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Assist with insurance verification, coding, and billing
  • Provide patient education and instruction on treatment plans, medications, and preventative care
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in computer skills and electronic health record systems
  • CPR certification is required
